8/12/05 Friday's MLB Picks (6)
A lot. I agree. 0-3 yesterday not pleasing. It was somewhat of an
oversight not taking that over in the Yankees game when I mentioned it
was going to be really high scoring.
Anways, the plays are:
Colorado Rockies +103 over Washington Nationals (1.5 Units)
The Nationals have been struggling so what gives them the right to be
favored in this game? We are expecting the Rockies offense to get
rolling today against Loaiza.
St. Louis Cardinals +105 over Chicago Cubs (1.0 Units)
Same reasoning as yesterday. Taking the momentum with these Cardinals
over the Cubbies who has been performing badly as of late. One game
does not change the momentum onto the side of the Cubs.
Atlanta Braves -1.5 RUNLINE +120 over Arizona Diamondbacks
Over the past 6-7 years, the Braves value has been 15 points off in
Home Game 1s in a series. This means that they really ought to be +100
on the runline and like -185 on the money line. The Diamonbacks are
8-14 against the East.
New York Yankees -1.5 RUNLINE +120 over Texas Rangers Shifting gears back to going against these Rangers.
Baltimore Orioles -1.5 RUNLINE +140 over Toronto Blue Jays The Orioles are finishing off a Devil Rays sweep. The Blue Jays,
themselves, are off a sweep. Seeing two teams off a sweep, we like the
home team.
Oakland Athletics +105 over Minnesota Twins (1.0 Units)
I really should replace the Twins name with Santana. We slammed a
monster underdog play before with these A's against Santana and we
will do it again. The A's are a strong home team. Strong against
lefties. Playing well. Should not be a dog.
